Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 during an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi was an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci when she was just six years old. At first, she competed in the national junior championships in Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, the Romanian gymnast won. In her 1972 first international event, which was an preolympics junior event for nations in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she won crowned all-around Junior Champion. Her first senior competition in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion, winning four golds and a silver. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976, becoming the first woman to perform a backward double salto as an unmounting from uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was a teen Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment industry by performing in the form of a figure skater. With her brother Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career in entertainment when she was in her teens. She began her professional career by performing figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment shows Ice Capades. The shows featured the ice skating of which was accompanied by theatrical music.
