Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in the second round. She remained dominant, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
